Yad HaShmona Biblical Garden

About Yad HaShmona Biblical Garden

Nestled in a quiet Judean hillside is Yad HaShmona Biblical Garden. Though it is not an archaeological site, the biblical garden offers an educational encounter for guests who can appreciate and experience biblical culture and horticulture as well as biblical customs of ancient Israel.

Main Attractions

The biblical garden brings the Bible to life. It features an ancient wine press, an olive press, a burial cave, a ritual bath, an agricultural tower, a threshing floor, a watchtower, a Galilean-type synagogue and a Bedouin tent, all constructed according to the best archaeological knowledge of ancient life.
