SPIRITUAL LEADER
Reverend Song Cheng Hock is currently serving as an adjunct lecturer in pastoral counselling and applied theology at two local bible schools. He has a keen interest in biblical history as God is the referential participant in space-time history. Touring through biblical sites therefore holds special meaning and significance for him. He views every tour as a spiritual pilgrimage of discovering the connections between God’s sovereignty and biblical history, and its relevance in today’s world.

SINGAPORE
Your spiritual journey begins as you depart from Singapore for the wonders of Turkey.

ATHENS
Arrive in vibrant Istanbul and explore the historic Old City. Admire the Blue Mosque with its exquisite tilework, stroll through Hippodrome Square, and marvel at the architectural grandeur of Hagia Sophia. Descend into the Basilica Cistern, an ancient engineering masterpiece. Overnight in Istanbul.

ISTANBUL
Visit Chora Church (Kariye Mosque), famed for its Byzantine mosaics and frescoes. Discover the opulent Dolmabahçe Palace, then stroll along bustling Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. Explore the fragrant Spice Bazaar and enjoy a Bosphorus Cruise, where Europe meets Asia. Overnight in Istanbul.

ISTANBUL-GALLIPOLI-TROY-CANAKKALE
Pass the historic Gallipoli Peninsula before arriving at the legendary site of Ancient Troy, immortalized in Homer’s Iliad. Continue to the ruins of Alexandria Troas, once an important early Christian port. Overnight in Çanakkale.

CANAKKALE-PERGAMOS-THYATIRA-SMYRNA-IZMIR
Ascend by cable car to the Pergamum Acropolis for a panoramic view of this “compromising” church. Continue to Thyatira, the “adulterous” church, and glimpse the ancient city of Smyrna, the “suffering” church. Overnight in Izmir.

IZMIR-EPHESUS-IZMIR
Explorer the ancient city of Ephesus, addressed as the “loveless” church. Visit the Basilica of Saint John, and the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her final home. Stop at a leather outlet and experience local culture with Turkish delight and apple tea. Overnight in Izmir.

IZMIR-SARDIS-PHILADELPHIA-LAODICEA-PAMUKKALE
Begin with the ancient ruins of Sardis, the “dead” church, then continue to Philadelphia, the “faithful” church, and Laodicea, the “lukewarm” church. Conclude at Hierapolis and marvel at the white travertine terraces of Pamukkale’s Cotton Castle. Overnight in Pamukkale.

PAMUKKALE-PISIDIAN ANTIOCH-KONYA
Visit a cotton textile outlet before visiting Colossae, a city with rich biblical history. Proceed to Antioch in Pisidia, where Paul and Barnabas preached to early Jewish communities. Overnight in Konya (ancient Iconium).

KONYA-CAPPADOCIA
En route to Cappadocia, stop at a restored caravanserai, once a haven for merchants. Descend into Saratli Underground City, a remarkable network of tunnels used by early Christians. In Cappadocia, visit Avanos Pottery Village and Art Centre to observe local artistry. Overnight in Cappadocia.

CAPPADOCIA
Explore Cappadocia’s landscapes with an optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Visit the Goreme Open-AirMuseum, Pigeon Valley, Uchisar Castle Village, Fairy Chimneys, and Rose Valley. Learn about traditional carpet weaving and browse for onyx, turquoise, and local souvenirs. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Early morning transfer to Kayseri Airport for your return flight home, concluding your unforgettable Turkish journey.
